Fees Rules
- Fees once paid at the time of admission is not refundable except the Security Deposit amount in case of the withdrawal. Parent / Guardian will intimate the school in writing for the same and apply for the school transfer certificate. Security deposit (Refundable) will be refunded only when all dues to the school are cleared.
- Fees can be deposited in advance.
- Tuition, Annual and Transport fees may increase as determined by the School Management.
- Cancellation of admission of the ward is done once all dues till the current quarter is paid. The school is not liable to return the amount paid at the time of admission in any circumstance, whether the student has attended the classes or not from the beginning of the session.
- Once the new session commences, security deposit will only be refunded if tuition fee (and transport fee if applied for transport) upto the relevant quarter is paid, otherwise, it will be considered as forfeited. For further details please refer to the Withdrawal section in the school almanac.
- Annual Fees is charged for the financial year – April to March. Thereafter, Annual fee is raised in advance in January of a given year and must be paid full in advance before the commencement of the session.
- Please ensure the full payment of the relevant quarter. All quarterly fees must be paid on or before 10th of the first month of the relevant quarter.
- Any “extra” fee paid, queried and found admissible, will be refunded after submitting the receipt of a payment for the same.
- No student will be allowed to Join/ remain in school unless all outstanding dues of the previous term and the current year's annual fees paid in full.
General Guidelines:
- Ensure that the student shall abide by the rules and regulations of Delhi Public School Panvel including those related to Attendance, Academic Honesty, Uniform and IT, incorporated and amended by Delhi Public School Panvel from time to time.
- Ensure that the official school uniform is worn by the student.
- Acknowledge that Delhi Public School Panvel has final authority in regard to student admissions, re admission, grade and class placement, retention, placement in special programmes and curriculum.
- Not hold Delhi Public School Panvel liable beyond responsible negligence, for accidents caused during student's participation in activities and/ or for accidents which are a result of actions my children take/s unilaterally without permission.
- Allow Delhi Public School Panvel to use the student's photos in its school publications and on its website.
- Not to defame or lower, within the community, by action or word the reputations of Delhi Public School Panvel, its Founders and/ or representatives.
- Ensure that the Fees (Tuition and Transport) is paid on time as per the schedule and mode of payment as decided by the school.
Transportation Rules & Regulations
GENERAL
- Parents should help in training and educating their children on the importance of traffic safety, and how to wait for, and ride in the school bus.
- Parents have to ensure that their children reach the school bus or the assembly point at the specified time. If there is a delay on their part, then parents have to deliver their children to the school. The bus driver will not responsible if the student reaches the pick-up point after the bus departs.
- Parents should notify the school administration of any offences committed by, or negligence on the part of, the driver or the attendant.
- Parents/Guardians has to bring their id card with them while picking students from their drop point. The student will be handed over once the id card is shown otherwise not.
- The driver will take students back to the School/City office if no one comes to collect them from the designated drop-off point. It will then be the responsibility of the parents to collect their children from the School/City office.
- Students should keep the bus clean, and should notify the school management or their parents if any offences are committed by the driver, attendant, or other students.
- Parents are requested not to board the school bus, either to see off or to receive their wards.
- Parents should not argue with the teachers/conductors/driver present in the bus. In case of any problem, a written complaint should be submitted to the school.
- Alternate drop-off points are unacceptable. Student should be consistently picked up at one designated stop, and dropped off at one designated stop, during the year. Change on drop-off points is an unsafe practice and is costly to the School Transport Department.
- Door to door service is not guaranteed. Routes are set to service all students as safety and efficiently as possible. Bus stops are pre-defined, and located in accordance with School Transport Department policies
- Parent/Guardians are responsible for the safety and conduct of their children prior to pick-up, and after leaving the bus at the end of the school day.
- During Sports time/Rehearsal for events/Special days, bus pick-up drop might have to be readjusted to which the parents are expected to make adjustment and comply with the school decision.
- Parent/Guardians unconditionally agrees and confirms that the School Transport Department does not accept any liability for accidents / injuries sustained by the Students in School Bus or en route / during the activity or outing itself which are beyond the control.
Consent to the Principal or the Teacher-in-charge to act on the Child's behalf, in Loco parent is, should the need arise for their signature in a medical emergency or any other emergency / unavoidable. The decision of the School Authority regarding such emergency etc. shall be final and binding on the parents / guardian. - Parents/Guardians must realize that riding a school bus is a privilege extended by the School, and we ask for the complete cooperation of parents, guardians and students in order to make the school bus system safe and efficient.
RULES FOR GETTING ON THE SCHOOL BUS SAFELY:
Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany primary and elementary age students to and from bus stops.
Students must:
- Be at their designated bus stop 10 minutes prior to their scheduled pick up time. Students must never run towards the bus.
- Wait at the designated stop in a safe place.
- Stay off the road AT ALL TIMES while waiting for the school bus.
- Wait for the bus in a single, orderly line.
- Wait until the bus comes to a COMPLETE STOP, and the door is opened, before approaching the school bus to begin boarding.
- NEVER run after the bus if they arrive late at their stop.
RULES FOR RIDING THE SCHOOL BUS SAFELY:
Students must:
- Take a seat promptly and sit properly, facing forward at all times.
- Keep aisles clear - books or bags are tripping hazards and can block the way in an emergency.
- Keep their head and arms - everything - inside the bus. Don't throw anything out of the windows, or within the bus.
- Wait for the bus to stop completely before getting up from their seat. Then, walk to the door and exit.
- Stay away from the bus' wheels at all times.
- Talk quietly. The driver must concentrate in order to drive the bus safely. Loud talking / laughing or yelling is not permitted because it can divert the driver's attention and may result in a serious accident.
- Save food for lunch time at school, or till they reach home, in order to avoid dropping food in the bus, and should refrain from throwing litter on the floor.
- Not fight, shout or play in or around the bus. Always follow the bus driver's instructions.
- Should never damage or tamper with bus or any of its equipment. Damage to seats or any other part of the bus, caused by the student, must be paid for by the offender.
- Students are expected to be courteous to the drivers and attendants, and should never use indecent language with any one.
Students should refrain from waving or shouting at pedestrians, or passengers in other vehicles.
RULES FOR LEAVING THE SCHOOL BUS SAFELY:
Students must:
- Remain seated until the bus comes to a full stop. Leave the bus in an orderly manner.
- If everyone is getting of the bus, the people at the front leave first. Do not push.
