The Maths Straight and Curved Lines activity conducted on August 5th, 2024 was a successful and enjoyable experience for class I students. The First Aid Activity held from July 29th to August 2nd, 2024 for class I was a highly successful and beneficial session. The sandwich-making activity on August 2nd, 2024 was a delightful success, combining fun with important lessons about nutrition and healthy eating. Our KG 2 students not only enhanced their understanding of vegetables but also developed essential fine motor skills and a sense of independence. Animal Welfare
On July 29, 2024, our pre-primary wing was abuzz with excitement as our teachers narrated a captivating skit about animal welfare. Through engaging storytelling and lively performances, young learners were introduced to the importance of kindness and care towards animals. The skit beautifully conveyed the message that animals, just like us, need love, respect, and protection. It was a heartwarming and educational experience for all!
Melody of Smiles: Humor Poetry
On August 1, 2024, our pre-primary section hosted an engaging and joyful Hindi Poem Recitation Competition centered around the theme of ‘Laughter.’ The event aimed to celebrate and encourage the expressive capabilities of our young learners by having them recite humorous and cheerful poems. The cheerful participation of our young learners made it a delightful and memorable occasion for all attendees.
Sketching Stories: The Exciting Pictionary Battle of Middle School
The interhouse Pictionary competition held on July 25, 2024 for classes VI to VIII, was a delightful and lively event that celebrated creativity and teamwork among middle school students and showcased impressive talent and enthusiasm, drawing and guessing fairy tale-related prompts with great energy. The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in creative expression and collaborate with their peers.
Cover Creations: A Library Art Adventure
The students in class V recently participated in a creative and imaginative activity where they designed and coloured cover pages for books of their choice. The activity allowed students to explore both fiction and non-fiction genres, giving them the freedom to express their artistic vision and preferences.
Excursion to Fire Station
On July 29, 2024, our class I and II students embarked on an exciting excursion to the fire station in New Panvel. This trip was designed to provide a fascinating and educational experience, offering students a unique opportunity to engage with fire safety practices beyond their classroom learning and contributing to their educational journey in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
Little Stars in Motion: The Intraclass Solo Dance Showcase
The Intraclass Solo Dance Competition for classes I and II, held on July 30, 2024, was a vibrant and unforgettable event. The competition, centered around the themes of Devotional and Motivational songs, offered a fantastic platform for our young dancers to showcase their talents and express their creativity. The event highlighted the students’ abilities and enthusiasm, fostering a love for dance and inspiring them to keep striving for excellence.
From Cells to Structures: A Creative Team Activity
On the 25th and 27th of July, 2024, a group activity was conducted for class IV where the students were asked to create a wall or structure by joining empty boxes together. The primary goal was to illustrate how individual units-‘cells’ can come together to form a complete and functional structure, mirroring the concept of how cells work together to build living organisms. The hands-on approach also reinforced teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
ADMAC Arena: A Thrilling Competition of Commerce Minds
The interhouse Commerce ADMAC Competition held on July 25, 2024, was an exciting and dynamic event that showcased the creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm of our students of classes IX to XI who competed with remarkable talent, engaging in various tasks that tested their knowledge and innovation. The event was a vibrant celebration of commerce education, reflecting the students' dedication and teamwork. Maverick House added one more feather in their cap by being the proud winner of this competition.
Exploring Galvanometer Mechanics
On July 29, 2024, students of Class XII A engaged in a practical and insightful activity focused on the galvanometer, a crucial device for measuring electrical current. The event provided a hands-on learning experience in dismantling, identifying components, and reassembling the galvanometer, enhancing students’ understanding of its operation and components.
From Solution to Crystals: Exploring Crystallization in the Chemistry Laboratory
On July 31, 2024, students of class XI A participated in an insightful Chemistry laboratory activity focusing on the purification of compounds through the crystallization of an impure sample of blue vitriol (copper sulfate). The hands-on experiment provided students with a practical understanding of the crystallization process and its applications in chemistry.
Inter-House One-Act Play
The one-act play competition organized by the Marathi department August 1, 2024 was a fun and engaging event that fostered creativity, social awareness, and enthusiasm among the students. All participants demonstrated remarkable talent and enthusiasm.
Maverick house was the proud winner of the first position whereas second place was bagged by Explorer House.

The students of class III participated in an engaging hands-on gardening experience on July 14th 2024 which aimed at introducing them to the wonders of gardening and the significance of nurturing plants. This educational session, guided by a knowledgeable gardener, offered students a unique opportunity to explore the magic of nature and acquire practical skills for cultivating their own gardens at home.
Essential Water Safety Skills: Swimming Safety Drill
The Swimming Safety Drill from July 22nd to August 2nd, 2024 was a highly successful and beneficial activity for Classes I and II. By learning essential water safety skills and understanding how to respond in emergencies, students are now better prepared for safe swimming practices. The enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from students underscored the effectiveness of the drill in fostering water safety awareness.

Sports Day

Physical activities play an important role in the development of a child. All the kids participated in various events and their enthusiasm and full participation made the events a grand success. Team work was the key factor of all the events. Races like Astronaut Race, Pyramid Race, etc. portrayed socializing, co-operation, confidence and the efforts to win.

Math Competition

DPSP believes in holistic development of a child. Maths Quiz was conducted for classes I and II on 17.01.2020. It’s not mere hard-core calculations. It’s about one’s knowledge of significance of athematics in our day to day life. It’s a mind sport.
The participants gave their best and they could know much more through the Quiz session. Teachers and parents, both play an important role in moulding their minds. This was one of the platforms for the kids to showcase their talents.
Tech-Edge Competition

The four Houses of DPSP had strongly contended for the in-house Tech Edge competition.This competition was conducted on the 23 rd January,2020.
Each group had to present a video of 5-7 mins based on a topic relevant to the social issues of the present day . The outcomes were wonderfull. The students came up with most educative and informative videos ,done with perfection on topics of Zero Waste , Communalism ,NRC and Stress in the life of Students.
Special Republic Day Assembly And Choir Competition
23rd January & 24th January 2020
The above pictures showcase the hard work put forth by the students of Classes I and II depicting Republic Day Celebration on 23.01.2020. The pride of being an Indian could be clearly seen through their acts.
The next day, i.e. 24.01.2020, we had a Choir Competition for classes I and II. Theme was ‘Patriotic Songs’. The kids did justice to all the songs. Their attire, their posture, their feel during singing, said it all.
The future of India is indeed bright. Proud to be an Indian.

Republic Day with Sports Day
26th January 2020
DPSP celebrated the 71 st Republic Day of India on 26 th January,2020. The school ground was decorated with displays for the sports day ,which was conducted on the event of Republic Day.
The chief guest for the event was Mr. Mahesh Korodia ,Who inaugurated the Sports Day by releasing a bunch of saffron, green and white balloons proclaiming the essence of freedom .
Students from Primary and secondary section participated in several sports activities and won laurels for their House .
Market
27th January 2020
Market Day was conducted for the students of Class I. DPSP has unique ways of explaining a concept to their students. This activity is one of the experiential learnings conducted in the school.
Students were able to purchase things with fake notes. They were able to calculate the amount spent by them. They could also tell the amount to be returned to them when they gave a bigger denomination note to the shopkeeper (teachers).
This activity helped the students in building their confidence and it was a fun way to teach them the concept of ‘MONEY’.
‘Enjoying while learning’ helps in understanding concepts better.
IIG Essay & Drawing Competition

The Indian Institute of Geomagnetism , Panvel conducts several completions for the students in and around Navi Mumbai from time to time .It provides a wonderful ground and exposure to the students to display their talents . Such was the Essay writting competition and the drawing competition which was conducted in the month of January,2020 .Our students participated in both the competitions starting from Std. V - IX .
Metro Fiesta
30th January 2020
This activity was a display of the location culture, heritage, food and dresses of the four metro cities. The children had prepared charts, models on different topic, gathered information and portrayed well. There food court of snacks, sweets and traditional authentic dishes of that state. Students had also depicted the traditional dresses to the states. Traditional dance was also performed.
